Our firm was commissioned by the Mussons Group, a leading private entity in the Caribbean, to oversee structural design for a pivotal component of the region's largest Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) facility—a four-story structure. The project demanded efficiency and constructability, prompting our team to adopt a flat slab system. This choice not only expedited construction by eliminating internal beams but also facilitated seamless integration of building services within the ceiling void.

Strategically positioned concrete shear cores at central and longitudinal ends provided robust structural support, ensuring an efficient and concentric load-bearing system. Collaborating closely with the contractor from the outset, we identified a suitable table form system for the flat slab, optimizing construction timelines and achieving timely completion of the structural framework.

With approximately 9 meters between columns, the design enabled versatile, open-plan configurations ideally suited for BPO operations. Our involvement in this project underscores our commitment to delivering innovative, practical solutions that meet the exacting demands of large-scale commercial developments in the Caribbean and beyond.
