Princess Hotels,
Green Island
Introducing the Princess Grand Jamaica, the latest addition to the esteemed Princess Hotels and Resorts group, nestled in the serene town of Green Island between Montego Bay and Negril. Boasting several hundred rooms and breathtaking overwater suites, this luxurious retreat embodies unparalleled elegance.
The structural backbone of the main rooms buildings utilized a sophisticated precast solution by an international firm. Working closely with them, we engineered robust foundations utilizing a piled solution tailored to the unique geological conditions of the area. Our scope extended to designing pile foundations for the swim-up pools and foundations for the overwater suites, ensuring stability and longevity in every detail.
Beyond the main structures, our team crafted engineering designs for essential ancillary buildings, including the Kids Club, main restaurant, Casino, and the Industrial Building housing critical site mechanical equipment. Serving as the Structural Engineer of Record for the project, we ensured meticulous oversight and adherence to industry standards throughout.
Explore how our expertise in structural engineering transforms visionary concepts into architectural marvels, setting new benchmarks in hospitality excellence. Join us in celebrating innovation and precision in every detail of the Princess Grand Jamaica experience.
